The Wrightsville Beach Residence is a three-story, traditional beach house that is being renovated and given a contemporary look. It contains 2,990 sq ft of the existing first and second floors, with a third floor master bedroom suite addition, a 300 sql ft ground floor walk-in with glass water feature, and 1,522 sql ft of exterior decks and covered porches. The renovation also includes an eat-in kitchen that allows for a breakfast room. Existing exterior wood siding was replaced with resawn wood cedar shakes and a new cedar shake roof replaced the existing one. The existing driveway is now an enclosed two-car pass thru garage. Railings on porches vary between open pickets to wood cedar shake partial-wall railings to ensure privacy between adjacent houses.
